Is CrossFit Here to Stay?

CrossfitThat’s CrossFit, not CraseFit. In either case, there’s no danger of either going away. Granted, CraseFit hasn’t garnered the rabid detractors CrossFit has, but if you’ve been around for longer than a minute, you know that the two are very different. Both work, it just depends on your goals. Best of all, neither are mutually exclusive. Yes, you can get your CraseFit Newsletter and still date any exercise program you want! Likewise, you can CrossFit and still branch of on your own. DIY fitness, health, strength, movement . . . We owe it to ourselves to pursue each & every of these noble goals, and at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what path you take, so long as you’re working on getting there.

Why is he talking about this? Well, 1) I’m always talking & practicing Fitness, and 2) I just ran across a great article In Defense of CrossFit. Chris Shugart is the author of the piece, and stacking my CrossFit knowledge in a pile, I can see that he is well versed and well-spoken in the art of CrossFit. Maybe I could’ve, should’ve written my own piece, but I can assure you that any newly written rant would only differ in style, not content.

So, without further ado, check out In Defense of CrossFit and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!
