Welcome to the 2nd Annual CraseFit 10,000 for Spring Pushup Challenge! This party starts October 1, 2013 and lasts until March 20, 2014. We like to boogie away those long dreary winter months by keeping our bodies fit & our minds sharp.
With 171 days separating us from the first day of spring, we will be averaging 60 pushups a day. More or less, depending on your current level of fitness, and any form of pushup is allowed . . . after all, you’re doing these in your own house, in your own gym, in your own park, wherever you lean forward and fall into pushup position. Our Facebook group is just a place to congregate, post your daily totals, and give & receive encouragement & motivation from others participating in the challenge.
The group on Facebook is listed as closed, but that’s just to keep the general public from seeing our posts and possibly posting something irrelevant. Request to be added, and voila, that’s all there is to it . . . oh, and the pushups, don’t forget the pushups!
Last year we had really good feedback, a lot of people who completed the full 10,000 pushups, and many who did 2,500, 5,000, however many . . . and the encouragement didn’t waver a bit. So, if you’re looking for a supplement to your workout routine, or if you want to jumpstart a new workout routine, the 2nd Annual 10,000 for Spring is just for you! And your friends, most certainly.
We also grouped in situps/crunches, and running totals last year. You’re welcome to add these to your program, or just stick with the pushups . . . your choice!
